IA Summit '08
I'm very pleased to announce that I will be speaking at the IA Summit this April in Miami. My presentation is called "Taxonomy Is User Experience" and focuses on making the connection between the data and the user experience. I've found that in selling taxonomy work, one of the biggest hurtles is simly communicating what I am doing and why it's important. I hope to pass on some of the tips & tricks I've learned as well as make the argument that taxonomies are not dead yet!
This year's summit is going to be a good one. Richard Dalton and his gang have been working away. You can really see the effort they are putting into the event.
PhillyCHI 2008
Crystal, Dennis, Dom, and I have a lot planned for PhillyCHI this year. 2007 was a great year for us. We built upon the momentum that Kyle & Co. set in motion.
